Five days from now, I will submit my HBS application and be done with the application process. No more sacrificing of weekends. No more skipped holidays. No more heading straight to the library after work every single night.
I’m trying not to lose focus, but it’s difficult when the finish line is so close. There are so many things I’ve put off for b-school, this blog being one of them, and I’m itching to start getting my life back.
It’s hard to believe that I’ve submitted four out of five applications now. Four hats in the ring. I submitted my Haas application a few weeks ago, but with all my other schools, I haven’t had time to worry about the status of that application. Now that it’s all coming to a close, I’m realizing that while my workload will definitely decrease, the stress won’t necessarily end. The waiting period and checking your email as they make decisions is going to be a nerve-wracking process.
After Tuesday, I’m going to make it a point to celebrate. Maybe watch a couple movies with friends or get a massage. I also need to pick up my tennis racket and get back in shape. I haven’t gained any weight, but the process of applying to business school is definitely not good for your health.
Amazing! You do well on your essay!
And yes tennis is just amazing, everyone loves a good game!
