Like millions of other Americans, I lost my job earlier this year due to the weak economy. Emotionally, I’ve come up from hitting the bottom, but I still have occasional relapses; days where I leave my pajamas on and stay in bed all day. One of the interesting things about being unemployed is that the time you waste on the internet goes way up. In doing so, I came across an old video that has more much meaning to me today. It was the Steve Jobs commencement speech at Stanford in 2005. For anyone who like me, got screwed by their employers, please use this video as inspiration towards making the right choices in life and finding a new career.
